Aha, so this is what CrossFit means with “being prepared for the unknown” – so to speak!!
Early morning November 11th a crazy bunch of athletes where in for a treat becoming first ever running a small spontanious fundraiser against ALS on the world’s heaviest motocross track of the Red Bull Knock Out held just the day before. The contrast could not be bigger as in the silence of this beautiful Sunday morning they ran the 4.5 km grueling and exhausting track covered with deep trenches dugout by heavy motorcycles on Saturday. Imagining the “fight gone bad” for so many people, as also recently my Aunt, diagnosed with ALS made it all more than worthwhile….
Although maybe small, a donation was made to support the/her fight against ALS.
Wish to find support running the Knock Out every 2 years making it a tradition for future to come. So come on and join us…
Great job and many thanks to Anthony, Brian, Johan, Esther, Suus, Robert, Dennis, Lars, Bob, Joey, Eva, Jeroen, Joost, Alex, Vincent & Vincent!
(Still feel sand everywhere……;)
“Ingrid hold on and stay strong”!
